The 12th International Venture Capital and Private Equity Forum, the leading event for venture capital and private equity in South Eastern Europe will take place on 11th and 12th December 2012 at the Hotel Grande Bretagne, Athens, Greece. It was co-organised by the Invest in Greece Agency, the New Economy Development Fund (TANEO), the Hellenic Venture Capital Association (HVCA) and PRAXI/HELP-FORWARD Network, coordinator of the Enterprise Europe Network – Hellas.

The Forum is a unique opportunity for investment professionals, policy makers, entrepreneurs, academics and researchers to network, exchange their views and experiences.

During last year’s Forum, more than 500 participants had the opportunity to attend and network. Over 150 meetings took place, between venture capitalists, private equity investors and entrepreneurs. The majority of the investment proposals related to the sectors of information technology, energy, and health/safety, while the requested funds amounted to 455 million euros. Το 12ο Διεθνές Φόρουμ Εταιρειών Επιχειρηματικών Κεφαλαίων και Ιδιωτικών Επενδύσεων, η κορυφαία εκδήλωση για τις εταιρείες επιχειρηματικών κεφαλαίων (venturecapital) και ιδιωτικών επενδύσεων (privateequity) στη Νοτιοανατολική Ευρώπη θα πραγματοποιηθεί στις11 και 12 Δεκεμβρίου 2012 στο ξενοδοχείο Μεγάλη Βρετανία στην Αθήνα.

Το φόρουμ αποτελεί μοναδική ευκαιρία για τους επαγγελματίες στον τομέα των επενδύσεων, τους υπεύθυνους χάραξης πολιτικής, τους επιχειρηματίες, τους πανεπιστημιακούς και τους ερευνητές ώστε να δικτυωθούν και να ανταλλάξουν απόψεις και εμπειρίες.

Οι περισσότερες επενδυτικές προτάσεις αφορούν τους τομείς της τεχνολογίας της πληροφορικής, της ενέργειας, της υγείας και ασφάλειας, ενώ τα απαιτούμενα κεφάλαια ανέρχονται σε 445 εκατομμύρια ευρώ.
