Overview
To implement strategic communication activities that help Greenpeace Greece meet specific campaign, communications, mobilisation and organizational objectives.
Key Duties and Responsibilities
- Work in a team to implement communications objectives and strategies of Greenpeace Greece
- Write and edit communication materials, including press releases, web stories, press packs and other materials.
- Maintain and develop relationships with media, external agencies, collaborators and contacts.
- Coordinate production of promotional materials (newsletters, leaflet, advertisements, etc.)
- Liaise and keep flow of information with campaign, communications and fundraising department.
Selection Criteria
Essential qualities and skills:
- Minimum two years’ work experience in communications/ advertising/public relations
- Strong language skills – ability to write and edit
- Excellent knowledge of English.
- PC literate (MS-Office). Expertise and knowledge of Photoshop and InDesign will be highly appreciated
- Ability to work as a team and to liaise and negotiate effectively.
- Understanding of Greenpeace’s values, campaigns and practices.
- Ability to manage multiple projects with tight deadlines and reliably respond to external inquiries quickly and under pressure.
