Russia throws open its first micro hostel with facility to accommodate over 100 people in sleeping cells called sleepboxes.
Each one of these boxes is sound proof and is said to guarantees a good night’s sleep.

They provide adequate space for a person to sleep and work at a tiny desk
- Each sleepbox contains a bed, table, lamp, shelf, small wardrobe and mirror.
The hostel is located near the railway station.
It is based on the concept of Japanese ‘capsule hotels,’ where such hotels may have up to 600 sleepboxes and they are usually located near railway stations.
