Aπό τις 10 έως τις 13 Φεβρουαρίου, επισκέφτηκε την Θεσσαλονίκη τουρκική αποστολή από την περιοχή του Corum με σκοπό να προωθηθεί η περιοχή αυτή της Τουρκίας στο ελληνικό κοινό και να αναπτυχθεί μια επωφελής συνεργασία ανάμεσα στους δύο τόπους. Την αντιπροσωπεία συνόδευσαν ο Διευθυντής των Τουρκικών Αερογραμμών στην Θεσσαλονίκη κ. Utku Yazan, ο Διευθυντής του Οργανισμού Τουριστικής Προβολής και Μάρκετινγκ Ν. Θεσσαλονίκης, κ. Νίκος Σαπουντζής και ο Αντιπρόεδρος της Ένωσης Τουριστικών Γραφείων Μακεδονίας – Θράκης κ. Στέφανος Χατζημανώλης. Προς τιμήν τους παρατέθηκε δείπνο στο εστιατόριο Diplomatico του Mediterranean Palace Hotel, όπου τους υποδέχτηκε ο Διευθυντής κ. Γιάννης Ασλάνης.

A Turkish delegation has visited Thessaloniki from February 10 to 13, in order to introduce and promote the area of Corum in Turkey to the Greek audience and develop a beneficial cooperation between the two sites. The delegation was accompanied during their stay by the Director of Turkish Airlines in Thessaloniki Mr. Utku Yazan, the Director Thessaloniki Tourism Organization Mr. Nikos Sapountzis and the Vice President of the Association of Travel Agencies of Macedonia and Thrace Mr. Stefanos Chatzimanolis.

Mr. John Aslanis, the General Manager of Mediterranean Palace Hotel, honored them with a farewell dinner at the “Diplomatico” restaurant of the Hotel.
