The online flash sale started about five minutes ago (as in 6 a.m. Wednesday — that’s today) and ends in 24 hours. So ask yourself: Could Wednesday be the new Friday?

The deal: Wednesdays on Us is just that, a free night’s stay at the Cosmopolitan with the purchase of a room on Tuesday or Thursday. Guests must pay in full and in advance, and no refunds if you change your mind. The flash sale is available for online reservations only.

When: The sale starts 6 a.m. Wednesday and continues until 6 a.m. Thursday, Pacific time. The offer is good for stays starting Thursday through Sept. 30, based on availability.

Details: I checked online to see what rooms generally go for on Tuesdays and Thursdays. I found prices starting in the $150 to $160 range, depending on the month you choose. Sale rates apply to City Rooms, Terrace Studios and Terrace One Bedrooms but not to suites.
