At the Navarino Environmental Observatory (NEO), in Messinia, Greece, a new tradition of research and higher education is being created, with a focus on the climate and environment of the Mediterranean region. NEO is a cooperation between Stockholm University, the Academy of Athens and TEMES S.A. Subjects studied here include atmospheric science, water science, climate science, earth science, geography, biology and interdisciplinary environmental management.
