More than 120 people, including olive oil producers, mill owners, industry representatives as well as academic researchers attended the talk of Dan Flynn, Executive Director of UC Davis Olive Center that took place in Kalamata.

The Embassy is sponsoring this visit in collaboration with the American Farm School, the Captain Vassilis Foundation, and Mataroa to exchange views on sustainable economic development through olive oil production, processing and marketing. Dan Flynn’s visit also got considerable attention by the local media of Messinia.
